Looking for 2 in a row ANZA3 was up against EmerioCC at TCB...lost the toss and hit the field. Gal go the first break-through in the 4th over sending the stumps a skittling. Both he a Andy (Flambo) Howarth bowled brilliantly in partnership - Mikey 7 overs 3 for 20 and Flambo with 7 overs 2 for 19. Mike's even had the ump on side with his last ball a "well flighted" full toss that dropped onto the top of off stump and the square leg umpy was snoozing and allowed the ball......wh's to complain, we are owed a few.

The spine twins Render (2/22 off 6.1) and Soota (3/11 of 5) then took up the attack in fine style. Again only 4 wides conceded was big factor...Emerio bowled out in 26.1 overs for 76.

Joiner and Bostock opened and put on 30 until an injury prompted Bostock to hit out getting caught. His runner was Marcus Robinson who then had the quickest approach to the wicket you'd ever see only to then watch James take 5 minutes to limp off. Of course James has never been keen on the second run and I guesss the strained calf muscle will just confirm his views. Marcus got a dodgy LBW to go cheaply but then Harmeet joined the skipper and they batted solidly to get the required runs in over 20, inside the target for collecting 10 points. Joiner 25 not out and Harmeet 21 not out.
